An experienced team united by a shared ambition
At the heart of pupil success, a committed, qualified and passionate teaching team supports every journey with high standards and care.
Our school has a stable team of teachers who share a common ambition: to provide an excellent education tailored to each pupil’s needs and aligned with the international standards of the French education system.
Each teacher is selected for their subject expertise, their command of innovative teaching methods and their ability to support pupils’ academic and personal development. The diversity of their backgrounds and experience enriches learning and encourages an open-minded outlook. Our teachers can continue to develop their practice through the professional development opportunities offered by the AEFE
Beyond imparting knowledge, our teachers play an essential role in developing pupils’ confidence, independence and critical thinking skills.

"Vie scolaire": a distinctive feature of the French education system
The vie scolaire department is a distinctive feature of the French education system. It plays an essential role in fostering a positive and calm school environment. The team includes education assistants (assistants d’éducation, or AEDs) and a senior education adviser (conseiller principal d’éducation, or CPE).
The department supports pupils throughout the school day. Working with the school leadership, teachers and families, it helps ensure pupils’ safety and well-being, monitors attendance and promotes respect for the rules of community life. Its role extends beyond academic learning to include the development of social, emotional and civic skills.
The department provides a framework for daily school life in which pupils build relationships, develop their identities and learn to put fundamental values such as respect, tolerance and solidarity into practice
Key responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with the school rules
Monitoring pupils’ attendance and punctuality
Fostering a positive school climate in collaboration with families and teachers
Educational activities, prevention initiatives and pupil participation in school life
Well-being and a positive school climate
At the Lycée Français Anna de Noailles, pupils’ well-being and personal development are among our key priorities. We pay particular attention to creating a calm, safe and supportive school environment that enables every pupil to learn and thrive.
Working closely with the head of primary school, a school climate coordinator supports staff and coordinates prevention and awareness-raising initiatives focusing on respect, empathy, emotional management, living well together and the prevention of bullying.
The coordinator works in particular with a team of supervisors who support pupils during shared activities, including break times and lunch breaks. Regular opportunities to exchange ideas and review practices help ensure a consistent approach, strengthen the team’s skills and foster a shared sense of purpose, all within a caring environment.
This approach forms part of the pHARe programme to prevent and tackle bullying, helping every pupil grow and learn in an atmosphere of trust, respect and safety.
In nursery classes, an agent spécialisé des écoles maternelles (ASEM) works alongside the teacher in the classroom throughout the school year, in addition to the supervisors.
