The association
Keeping the community spirit alive, beyond schooling
The Lycée Français Anna de Noailles Alumni Association aims to bring together graduates and former pupils of our institution, to strengthen the bonds that unite them and to keep the spirit of the Bucharest French High School community alive beyond their school years.
Beyond the alumni network, the association also aims to build bridges between generations of students. By encouraging exchanges between alumni and current students, it helps to guide the latter in their orientation, personal development and integration into higher education and professional life. It thus fully contributes to the educational mission of the lycée and to the promotion of the values of the French education system.
A momentum since 2019
From reunions to regular meet-ups
While alumni reunions had been organised for many years, it was from 2019 onwards that the project for an association gradually took shape. Since then, gatherings have been multiplying and regularly bring together nearly a hundred alumni, from the graduating classes of the 1990s to the most recent, in a spirit of conviviality, sharing and mentoring.
This community is also very much alive within the school itself. We are pleased to count a growing number of former pupils among the staff, as well as among the parents. This generational continuity bears witness to a lasting attachment to our school and helps to maintain a true sense of community.
At the Careers and Training Fair
Pathways that inspire today’s pupils
For the past two years, several former student volunteers have also been getting involved alongside the school by taking part in the Careers and Higher Education Fair. There, they present their diverse university and professional paths, talk with middle and high school students, and help them build their future career plans through their experiences and advice.
And tomorrow
An active, supportive and open network
The Alumni Association wishes to continue this momentum by developing an active, supportive and open network, serving current and future generations of Lycée Français Anna de Noailles. Together, we bring to life a community that transcends school years and continues to uphold the values of excellence, openness, solidarity and transmission that characterise our school.
