Presentation

Quality catering serving pupils' wellbeing

Lycée Français Anna de Noailles pays special attention to the quality of school meals, which are a truly important part of the pupils' daily lives.

Each day, the catering service prepares on site more than 1,100 meals for the pupils, with a dedicated team at the school. The meals are prepared to offer a balanced, varied diet suited to the needs of children and adolescents. The menus are approved by a French nutritionist and designed in compliance with European nutritional guidelines.

Service organisation

A service tailored to every age

Catering operates according to year groups, in order to respect pupils' rhythms and independence:

Nursery

in nursery school, pupils benefit from a dining area adapted to the youngest children; ;

Primary

in primary school, the service supports pupils in discovering tastes and learning independence; ;

Middle school and high school

in secondary school and high school, pupils have access to a self-service canteen system with a choice of several meals, a salad bar and a variety of options.

Meals are served during organised time slots between 11:15 and 14:30, allowing smooth management of lunch times according to age groups.

Beyond the meal

Education in taste and dietary balance

Beyond the meal, the school canteen contributes to the nutritional education of pupils: choices offered from primary school onwards, regular themed events around cooking and taste awareness.

The service also takes into account the specific needs of pupils, particularly food allergies, which are handled with a tailored approach.

Service is provided by Road-going, partner of the school for meal preparation and service.
