Three forms of support
Her mission is to respond to the difficulties encountered by pupils and to lead them to the mastery of the common core.
Its main areas of focus are spoken and written expression, mathematics, and study skills methodology.
He/She can intervene in the classroom or work with small groups of pupils outside to work on specific objectives. He/She works in close collaboration with the teachers of each class.
Her mission is to provide personalised support to pupils identified by teachers as needing it.
He supports pupils individually, outside the classroom, to work on specific objectives. He works in close collaboration with the teachers of each class.
The role of the school doctor is not to treat, but to intervene for preventive and educational purposes. They are assisted in their duties by 2 nurses.
To help ensure their academic success, he monitors the children's health and their ability to learn. He recommends medical care and adjustments to their schooling if their health condition requires it. He does not issue prescriptions himself; his role is to act as a link between the child and their family, the school, and the various healthcare professionals caring for the pupil outside the school.
The role of the educational psychologist is to promote pupils' psychological well-being and socialisation to facilitate their learning, and to help prevent the risks of disengagement or dropping out of school.
The educational psychologist-speech therapist can also, upon the request of teachers only, carry out a speech and language assessment.
