In a city like Bucharest, Lycée Français Anna de Noailles offers a school transport service to make daily life easier for families and ensure that pupils can travel to and from school safely.
Every day, a fleet of approximately 10 minibuses transports accompanies more than 300 pupils from Bucharest and Voluntari to the school. he service is organised around pupils' school timetables, with morning pick-ups and several afternoon return services to accommodate different finishing times and after-school activities.
Pupil safety is a priority. The school carefully selects its transport provider and ensures that all applicable school transport regulations are followed. Pupils travel in appropriate conditions, with arrangements in place to ensure their safety and well-being.

Departure times for individual stops are not published, as they vary depending on traffic conditions. Pupils must be at their stop 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Two packages are available, payable by school term and non-refundable. Prices are taken from the official 2026–2027 brochure.

Single Journey: one journey per day
Requests must be sent by email to navette@lyceefrancais.ro at least 48 hours before the requested journey. To register, please submit the school insurance certificate and the signed transport rules. Both documents are mandatory; pupils cannot be registered without them. Registration is subject to availability and will be confirmed accordingly.
Registration guarantees a place for each enrolled child. Since the seats in the vehicles are reserved for the entire quarter, and in order to avoid increasing the overall cost for everyone, refunds are no longer possible. Days of illness, school trips, absences, and exclusions will not be reimbursed.

Families can also request the addition of a stop on an already existing route, provided that a sufficient number of students are involved and that the necessary permits are obtained from the municipality.

The transport service is entirely self-financed and relies solely on the contributions of the families using it.
Rules and frequently asked questions
Your questions about school transport
Pupils must travel seated with their seatbelts fastened, remain in their seats for the entire journey, and must behave in such a way as not to disturb other pupils, distract the driver's attention in any way, or compromise safety. Failure to comply with the internal rules may lead to the temporary or permanent suspension of access to the service.
What are the conditions for my child's care?
Registration for the school transport service is a fixed-term commitment, undertaken for either a school term or the entire year.
All pupils who have been pre-registered on the Eduka Parent Portal in accordance with the procedures defined during the registration campaign are eligible for school transport.
What are the registration procedures? How do I register?
By email to navette@lyceefrancais.ro or by pre-registering on the Eduka platform.
It is possible to register either for the outward journey, the return journey, or both, every day of the school week (Monday to Friday).
What are the registration conditions?
Registration for the school transport service requires the fulfillment of the following three conditions: approval of the transportation regulations by the families and the uploading of the signed version on Eduka; parental authorization for an authorized person to pick up the child at the bus stop (children in primary school); and proof of school insurance covering school transport.
Once registration is confirmed, each child up to CM2 (ages 10-11) will be given a name badge in the colour of their transport route, containing information relating to the journeys registered (outward and return stops, telephone number of the people authorised to meet them on their return).
Until what date can I enrol my child?
For the September start: register on the Eduka platform before August 31st.
Registration for school transport can be done all year round within the limits of available places. Any request for registration after September 1 must be sent by email to our address: navette@lyceefrancais.ro because our system will no longer allow online registration. After checking availability, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
Is it possible to amend a judgment?
It is possible to modify a stop after checking available spaces. Parents must submit their request to the Transport Manager by email at navette@lyceefrancais.ro at least 15 days before the modification takes effect. The badge of the child concerned will be updated by the parents or by the Transport Manager in the event of major modifications.
What to do in the event of a house move during the school year?
At least three weeks before your move, you contact the transport service manager by email at navette@lyceefrancais.ro, specifying your new address.
For any change in situation (establishment, regime, address, type of transport, stop, mobile phone number), please submit the request online: navette@lyceefrancais.ro.
How does the pick-up work on the way there?
The bus arrival time may vary depending on traffic conditions. Consequently, pupils must be at the stop 5-10 minutes before the official time. If the bus has not arrived 15 minutes after the official time (due to a breakdown or major hindrance), a parent (or pupil) may telephone the transport office to obtain information and agree together on the most appropriate way to get the pupil to school. Parents are responsible for their children until the moment they actually board the bus.
When the buses arrive at the school, adult supervisors look after the safety of the pupils. Nursery school children are met as they get off the bus by adult supervisors, who accompany them to the nursery school building, whilst primary school children are directed to the playground.
On the return journey, who is responsible?
Attention: Students are under the responsibility of their parents as soon as they get off the bus. The high school and its supervisors are authorized to check the identity of the people waiting for the children at the bus stop in the afternoon.
Nursery and primary school children are led to the bus by their supervisors. We insist that pupils are on time for bus departures.
