Getting involved

Two ways to take part in sport

The Sports Association is open to all volunteers; the Sport & Nature option is on a selective basis, from 6ème (ages 11-12) to Terminale (ages 17-18).

Every day, from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm, pupils can take part in a range of training sessions and activities, including multisports, volleyball, athletics, climbing, football and basketball. Nearly 120 pupils enrol each year and benefit from a varied programme combining regular training sessions, local competitions and events organised as part of the AEFE sports league.

The Sports Association also organises sporting outings, including visits to climbing centres in Bucharest, as well as opportunities to meet pupils from other international schools, sports clubs and Romanian elite athletes. These experiences allow pupils to broaden their horizons, develop their sporting knowledge and discover a variety of sporting disciplines and backgrounds.

Sport & Nature: An adventure at the heart of learning

The option accommodates 3 small (by selection) and dynamic groups in order to guarantee quality supervision.
